Referral Program

XNET Foundation Enterprise Referral Program rewards approved sales representatives for sourcing new commercial deployments and venues. Referral incentives are structured differently depending on whether a site is self-onboarded by the client or managed by a third party. All referral participants and parties are subject to Foundation approval.

Definitions

  • Operator Bucket: the standard pool where Epoch Rewards are emitted from.
  • Foundation Grants: a separate incentive bucket used to fund ecosystem growth incentives.

1) Client Self-Onboarding (Direct Operator)

In this path, the client completes onboarding directly with XNET (creates wallet, registers devices, adds certificates, configures Passpoint, and receives token payouts).

Flow

  • Client receives 100% of device earnings from the Operator Bucket (Epoch Rewards).
  • Sales representative receives 10% of device earnings from Foundation Grants, for up to 52 Epochs from activation.

Key point: The client's earnings are not diluted, referral rewards are funded via Foundation Grants, not the Operator Rewards Pool. Onboarding fees may apply.

2) Third-Party Managed Onboarding (Managed Operator)

In this path, the client elects to have a third party manage onboarding and ongoing operations (device registration, Passpoint setup, payout administration, monitoring/maintenance).

Flow

  • Third-party manager pays the onboarding fee to XNET on behalf of the client.
  • XNET earmarks 10% of device earnings for the sales representative, emitted from the Operator Bucket (Epoch Rewards).
  • Remaining 90% of device earnings is emitted from the Operator Bucket (Epoch Rewards) to the third-party manager.
  • Third-party manager allocates a portion of its earnings to client(s) to support setup, conversion, and ongoing monitoring/maintenance.

Key point: In managed deployments, the referral incentive is sourced from the Operator Bucket (Epoch Rewards) and reduces the portion distributed to the manager.
